Supportive Mission Statement in RPJMD

Mission 3: to implement distribution and balance of sustainable development in order to reduce disparities between regions while still considering the ecological aspects in natural resources use, with target (2) preserved natural resources, goal (4) declined rate of environmental damage.

Mission 10: to implement control and utilization of spatial and regional planning in accordance with the designation and regulation, in order to avoid regional gap and to achieve sustainable development, with target (4) increased function of protected area.

Supportive Policy Direction in RPJMD: Agriculture and Forestry Strategy: Maintain and manage protection forest (Hutan Lindung)areas as life support system. Policy direction: Improve forests security and protection, rehabilitate degraded land and develop community-based utilization of forest resources; Reduce pollution level and environmental destruction through planning, monitoring and enforcement of environmental law; Control pollution level and forest fires; Increase green open space area; Improve management of protected areas in accordance with the potential and carrying capacity and with local wisdom.
